The army seemed to be under pressure to react more extreme before ruling the South China Sea, which could cause a clash with the United States, according to sources from China.

The ruling of the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague, Netherlands rejected the brazen claims of China on the South China Sea. China refused to participate in the case from the beginning and said that the verdict has no legal basis.

So far, Beijing has not had any indication of what a tough action. Instead, it only called for a peaceful solution through negotiations, as well as promises to protect unauthorized sovereignty in the East Sea.

But according to an interview with Reuters between 4 sources close to the military and Chinese leaders, a number of elements in the Chinese army is moving forward, towards an armed forces powerful more, reaction against the US and its allies.

"People's Liberation Army (PLA) is ready," a source close to the military said.

"We should move forward and making them a bloody nose," the source said. The sources requested anonymity because not authorized to speak to media.

Chinese President Xi Jinping has constantly strengthened the PLA leadership from the South China Sea after the verdict and did not encounter any obstacles.

Xi has oversight of military reform, improve the combat capability of the PLA in the war, said that China needs a stable external environment for the country is to solve problems their own, including economic problems halted. And very few people believe that there will be any significant moves before China hosted the G20 summit in September.

However, the tough attitude that the source revealed in an interview with Reuters will cause any issues in the South China Sea may escalate into a more serious clash.

Another source with ties to the Chinese leader said that the soldiers of the PLA is the mood like hawks.

"America will do what they have to do. We'll do what we have to do," the source said. "All the military has been more firmly established." The source said, and refused to say more.

Not sure the Chinese military is considering consolidating the military steps like. However, much attention poured on a non-identification zone (ADIZ) illegal in the East Sea, the international aircraft requirements shall notify the identity for the Chinese government.

Other suspicions that the Chinese military might is deploying missiles on the bomber patrols in the South China Sea, capable of destroying targets such as the Philippines.

"We must prepare for a long war and see it as a turning point in military strategy in the South China Sea," Li Jinming China Sea Institute, Xiamen University of China blatant write in the journal Research Southeast Asian Studies.
